What to do if you disagree with your rateable value


You need to contact the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) (this page opens in a new window) using the contact details below, if you think your rateable value is incorrect.  The VOA will be able to answer any questions you may have, and can explain how the rateable value has been calculated.  They will also be able to tell you under which circumstances an amendment to the rateable value might be appropriate.

The local valuation office can carry out a review if there are valid reasons to suggest that your rateable value is incorrect.
