We offer grants towards paying for repairs and maintenance of listed and locally listed buildings or if they are prominent buildings in conservation areas.
If you receive a grant from us, you must use it to help meet the cost of using traditional and appropriate materials which match the original design.
We award grants for the following types of work:
- Repairs to or the renewal of a roof or guttering
- Repointing brickwork
- Protective treatment to timbers
- Damp-proofing using appropriate traditional methods
- Repairs to stone and stone work.
- Repairs to joinery, for example, windows, doors and decorative bargeboards.
- Repairs to a timber frame.
