Grants for sports clubs
Grants are awarded by Guildford Borough Council via Sport Guildford.  Applications are invited from voluntary organisations towards equipment and revenue or capital projects.  All applicants must be members of Sport Guildford.

The amount of each grant awarded to clubs varies.  However, the average amount for 2009/2010 was £300.

The deadline for 2010/2011 grant applications has now passed.  Applications forms for the 2011/12 grants will be available, on request, from October 2010.

Grants for outstanding ability
This grant scheme offers financial assistance to individuals of national and international standard or potential in their chosen sport.  To be eligible for consideration applicants must be resident in Guildford Borough.  Grants are awarded towards identifiable extra costs associated with elite performance.

The deadline for 2010/2011 grant applications has now passed.  Applications forms for the 2011/12 grants will be available, on request, from October 2010.
