We provide links between organisations in Guildford and Mukono in Uganda. We are not a fund raising organisation although this sometimes happens spontaneously.
These schools have been really successful with linking:
- Holy Trinity primary school in Guildford with Namawojjolo primary school in Mukono
- St Peters secondary school in Guildford with Lutengo United secondary school in Mukono
- St Lawrence primary school in Guildford with St Andrews primary school in Mbalala, Mukono
- Boxgrove Primary with Vincentalex Primary School.
- St Thomas of Canterbury Primary School with Busenya Primary School.
Another useful link is with St Mary the Virgin of Shalford with their sales of Fair Trade goods with surplus being used for projects in Mukono. There was a gift to Mukono of some ophthalmic equipment belonging to a retired ophthalmologist.
One other supply to Mukono has been the shipment of 18 computers from St Peters to Lutengo United School, despatched in August 2006. Two of these computers will be transferred to Namawojjolo Primary School.
