Special walks can be arranged for groups throughout the year at a low fee.

Schools - Guided walks of Guildford are offered free of charge to schools and can be tailored to fit in with national curriculum requirements.

Guildford is rich in history, it has a fine collection of buildings covering Saxon, Medieval, Tudor, Georgian, Victorian and 20th Century architecture, making it an ideal place for a school visit.

The Voluntary Town Guides show and explain the town to over a thousand pupils each year.  The most popular tour requested by schools is the Historical Tour of the town. This includes a brief history from the earliest times with visits to the Abbot's hospital, a church and the Castle grounds. In addition to the Historical Tour the guides offer tours on Medieval, Tudor and Victorian Guildford to compliment the National Curriculum.  Other tours given to the general public and also available to schools are:

Unknown Guildford
The River Wey and St Catherine's
Buryfields
Lewis Carroll
Henry Peak
