What is the Emergency Communications service?
We are a 24 hour emergency alarm monitoring centre based in Guildford. We provide lifeline monitoring services to residents of Guildford Borough, and corporate monitoring services to businesses and organisations across the UK. TSA code of practice accredited
We hold accreditation under the TSA (Telecare Services Association) Code of Practice. The aim of the code of practice is to provide a benchmark quality standard for telecare providers across the UK. To learn more visit the Telecare Services Association website (this page opens in a new window).
Confidentiality assured to clients - Data protection
We operate a secure working environment and comply fully with the Data Protection Act. Access to the control centre is restricted to authorised personnel for security. All our visitors are required to sign a confidentiality agreement before entering the control room.
Visitors are welcome by appointment on weekdays
All our visitors must sign in and out of the building and are only permitted access with advance notice, including clients and engineers.

We utilise the latest technology in telecare and call centre monitoring to maximise efficiency.
Close liaison with emergency services
We meet regularly with emergency service personnel sharing information to ensure the best response for all situations.
Special needs of clients are always catered for
All clients are treated with the same dignity and courtesy, regardless of circumstances or background. Special needs, including speech and sight impediments, hearing difficulties and other disabilities can be addressed. We also utilise Language Line services to assist clients whose first language is not English.
