Falls Detectors
To detect a fall and raise an alert without a trigger being pressed.

PIR’s Movement Sensor (Passive Infra-red Detectors)
Detects movement and raises an alert – Dual purpose – can be used:

• As an intruder alarm
• To detect for inactivity from a resident

Flood detector
A neat unobtrusive sensor providing instant alerts of potential flood situations in the home.

Gas detector
Will raise the alarm if a natural gas leak is detected.

Smoke detector
This device will detect smoke and immediately raise the alarm through the system.

Pull-cords
A useful addition when placed in strategic places around the home, especially where trip hazards such as steps are in place.

Bed activity sensors
Programmed to detect if there is no return to bed, possibly indicating a fall during the night. This device will also turn on a bedroom light when individuals get out of bed during the night, increasing their safety.

Bogus caller button
When situated near to a door can be used to alert the Care Centre to strangers and bogus callers.

Carbon monoxide detector
Dangerous CO levels will automatically alert the Care Centre and appropriate action will be taken.

Video door entry system
Connected to resident’s own TV, a view of the door visitor will enable the right decision to be made as to whether entry is allowed. Control of the door is enabled via the telephone, allowing residents to let visitors in if they wish, without leaving their chair.

Tele-Medicine
Community Telemedicine allows the remote monitoring of patient’s vital signs in the home to support the medical diagnosis, assessment and management of their condition.
