Use of Resources
This is the second year that the Audit Commission has carried out the use of resources assessment. The assessment focuses on the importance of having sound and strategic financial management to ensure that resources are available to support the Council’s priorities and improve services, covering five themes.

Ombudsman Annual Letter
The Commission for Local Administration in England (more commonly known as the 'Local Government Ombudsman') investigates complaints of injustice arising from maladministration by local authorities (but not parish councils) and certain other public bodies. The aim of the Ombudsman is to obtain redress for people who have suffered injustice as a result of maladministration.
They investigate complaints about most council matters including housing, planning, education and social services.
