The Mayor’s Award for Community Service aims to recognise and encourage positive community working in the Borough of Guildford.  "The Mayor’s Award for Community Service is now in its sixth year and continues to grow in popularity, which reflects the high level of positive community working within the borough", says Guildford Mayor Cllr Jennifer Jordan.

The deadline for nominations is Friday 6 March and the Mayor will present awards at an informal ceremony on Saturday 25 April 2009.
