I was born in Guildford and I have been a borough councillor for Merrow since 2003 (having served a previous term between 1987 and 1995).
I currently sit on the Community & Health Scrutiny Committee and the Licensing Committee. I am particularly interested in recycling and protecting the green belt. I am also very keen to see more facilities and services for younger and older people in Merrow.
I recently retired from teaching at George Abbot School, where I taught geography for over 30 years. However, I continue to lead a very busy life and am actively involved with my local church and as a member of the WI, Soroptimists and U3A. I also lead a guide company, which I have been running for over 40 years now.
You can contact me by email, telephone or letter. My details are in the Councillor database.
