
I was born in Guildford and have lived here all my life. I am married to Victor and have three children and three grand-children.
I was elected as a Stoughton Ward Councillor in 1999 and am currently the Mayor of Guildford. I also represent the Council on the Guildford Arts Executive Committee.
I was a childminder for 25 years and have a big interest in children's facilities and issues. I was a member of Guildford Play Association and helped to run a holiday playscheme for 14 years. I am also Chair of the Stoughton Youth and Community Centre.
I am a Governor at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, which all three of my children attended. I am also a Governor at Christ's College and a Trustee at Disability Challengers.
I was elected as Surrey County Councillor for Guildford North in 2005 and am a member of the Children and Families Select Committee and the Health Scrutiny Committee.
