I have lived in Guildford since 1995 and was elected as a Lib Dem Borough councillor for Holy Trinity ward in May 2007, having first been elected as a county councillor for Guildford South East in May 2005.

At Guildford Borough, I am a member of the Planning Committee and Environment & Housing Scrutiny Committee (and Lib Dem spokesperson on the environment), as well as on the committee of a housing association. I am also a trustee director of Voluntary Action South West Surrey and on the management committee for the Guildford Pupil Referral Unit.

I’m a languages graduate and trained journalist and have run my own public relations business for over 10 years.

Any spare time I do have (!) is spent travelling with my partner Mark, visiting friends and family around the country and the occasional bit of TV watching!
