As of 8 July 2008 the turbine has generated 323,000 kilowatt hours. The turbine will generate 260,000 kilowatt hours per year, enough energy to power 50 typical households. The investment pay back period is approximately 10 years.

Hydro drama workshops

In partnership with the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre we are offering free drama workshops for local school children in years five and six.

During the two-hour workshop children will learn about renewable energy as well as the history of the Mill (located next to the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre) and will also role-play. Children will be able to visit the Hydro Project and will also receive a certificate and a goody bag.
