The climate change will be there to give free information and advice on renewable energy technologies and how to save energy at home.

Farmers' Market
The climate change team will be at Guildford Farmers' Market from April.

We will be there to offer information and advice on renewable energy technologies and how you can make your home or office environment more energy efficient.  We will also have a number of energy saving devices on display.

Earth Hour
On Saturday 27 March 2010 at 8.30pm, join in and switch off your lights for one hour – WWF’s Earth Hour.

Climate Change Calendar 2010
Schools across the borough took part in a council-run competition to design images for a climate change calendar.  Each month of the calendar represents a different environmental theme related to climate change.  To view the final entries please visit the climate change calender page.

Free energy monitor trial
Residents of Guildford Borough can now try out an energy monitor for free.  The energy monitor will help you find out how much electricity you are using and if you can save money on your bills.  The council, in partnership with Surrey Libraries, has introduced a free loan scheme at Ash, Guildford and Horsley libraries.  For more details on the scheme please visit our energy monitor trial page.

The Greening Campaign
The council is launching a community-led initiative to tackle climate change and make a difference locally.  Residents are invited to get involved in the Greening Campaign which encourages local people to work together and help the community adapt to a changing climate.  For more information visit our Greening Campaign page.
