Top tips for home

  1. Choose plants for your garden that can tolerate the warmer, drier summers and the warmer, wetter winters that are forecast.
  2. Fit an energy saving light bulb.  They are available in high street stores and will save you money! 
  3. Fit a free water hippo in your toilet cistern.  We will send you one or you can pick one up from the council’s reception at Millmead.
  4. If you are buying new electrical goods eg dishwasher or washing machine choose one that is A rated for energy and water consumption.
  5. Remember to put all your paper in the purple kerbside recycling box, you can include small pieces of cardboard and junk mail!


Top tips for businesses

  1. When you change your car remember to consider fuel efficiency. Ask for the CO2 emissions when comparing different makes and models.
