Top tips for home
- Choose plants for your garden that can tolerate the warmer, drier summers and the warmer, wetter winters that are forecast.
- Fit an energy saving light bulb. They are available in high street stores and will save you money!
- Fit a free water hippo in your toilet cistern. We will send you one or you can pick one up from the council’s reception at Millmead.
- If you are buying new electrical goods eg dishwasher or washing machine choose one that is A rated for energy and water consumption.
- Remember to put all your paper in the purple kerbside recycling box, you can include small pieces of cardboard and junk mail!

- When you change your car remember to consider fuel efficiency. Ask for the CO2 emissions when comparing different makes and models.
