We carry out our own land surveying and mapping services.

Land surveying services include:

1. Surveys for engineering projects and other works.
2. Surveys of completed works.
3. Setting out for engineering works.
4. Boundary surveys where GBC land is involved.
5. Checks for planning requirements and surveys for planning enforcement.

Mapping services include:

1. Supply of Ordnance Survey maps for reference.
2. Council house right to buy plans.
3. Liaise with Ordnance Survey for copyright issues and new or updated mapping.

Ordnance Survey maps or data cannot be supplied to members of the public, except for planning applications or in connection with council business. They cannot be supplied for any other purpose.

Plans for planning applications (up to A3 size) can be purchased from the planning reception within the council offices. For any other map sales please contact your local Ordnance Survey agent (this page opens in a new window).
