What the law requires
You must ensure that all food handlers engaged in your food business are supervised, instructed and/or trained in food hygiene matters to a level appropriate to their work activity.

A new requirement of the hygiene regulations say that those responsible for the development and maintenance of the food safety management system in your business should have received adequate training in the application of HACCP principles. However if your food safety management system is working and is maintained this would show that this requirement has been satisfied.

Training courses
We offer training courses accredited by the CIEH.  Other accredited organisations include:

  • The Royal Institute of Public Health and Hygiene (RIPHH)
  • The Royal Society of Health (RSH)
