	Excellent	Very high standard of compliance with food safety legislation.  Implements best practice.
	Very good	High standard of compliance with food safety legislation.
	Good	Good standards of compliance with food safety legislation.  Some minor non compliance.
	Fair	Broadly compliant.  Some appreciation of food safety. Some non-compliance with legal requirements.
	Poor	Poor appreciation of food safety.  Some major non-compliance with legal requirements.  No Food safety management system.
No stars	Major improvements required	Little or no appreciation of food safety hazards.  General failure to comply with legal requirements. No Food safety management system.
