Starting from January Environmental Health and Licensing Services is working with the Safer Guildford Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership (CDRP) on a new initiative to reduce crime and antisocial behaviour in the town centre.

Ladder Exchange
Every month nationally nearly 100 people fall off a ladder at work and suffer serious injuries.
Environmental Health Officers from Guildford Borough Council and Inspectors from the Health and Safety Executive will promote ladder safety messages during June and July through a ladders exchange that aims to remove 4000 faulty ladders from workplaces in Great Britain.
