Following the previous advertisement of proposals in March 2005, Surrey County Council has made an order to regulate parking in Bishopsmead Parade, East Horsley through the introduction of a 2-hour limited waiting period in order to encourage the turnover of vehicles using the spaces and thereby prioritise the parking spaces in front of the parade of shops for visitors. These restrictions are effective from Monday 6 February 2006.
Please find below a plan showing the proposed restrictions and a copy of the public notice detailing the general effect of the proposals.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision thereof on the ground that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within six weeks from 1 February 2006, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
