Introduction of parking restrictions in Mill Lane, Guildford – making of the traffic regulation order.
Following the previous advertisement of proposals in October 2005, Guildford Borough Council, on behalf of Surrey County Council, has made an Order to regulate parking within Mill Lane, Guildford, in order to deal with the traffic management issues caused by the parking of vehicles in this location. These restrictions are effective from Monday 16 January 2006.
Please find below a plan showing the proposed restrictions and a copy of the public notice detailing the general effect of the proposals.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision thereof on the ground that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within six weeks from 11 January 2006, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
