Park and Ride

If you come into Guildford by car, for work, shopping or leisure, why not use the Guildford park and ride service?

Park and ride leaflet 2009 [PDF] (734k) showing locations of the Guildford park and ride sites, as well as prices and frequency of services.

All you need to do is park your car in one of the park and ride car parks, then hop on to a smart bus that will take you into the town centre. Park and ride buses are scheduled to run regularly all day long.  The buses will drop you off and collect you at the Friary bus station, which is very convenient for shops and offices.

On the Artington, Merrow and Spectrum services, there are low, floor-access buses. Buggies can be wheeled straight on to the buses, even double buggies.  The buses are spacious inside with extra room for your shopping.  Toilet facilities are provided at Artington.

For a handy wallet sized leaflet showing the locations of park and ride sites around Guildford as well as information about fares and timetables please contact the Transportation Team or contact Surrey Travel Line using the details at the bottom of this page.

The council also undertakes large engineering projects to design and build Park and Ride car parks. For more information please visit our Park and Ride construction page.
