Please note: The centre at the Civic Hall car park has been temporarily removed whilst the Civic Hall is being redeveloped. We apologise for any inconvenience and will replace these facilities as soon as possible. Updated - 24/07/09
There are over 30 recycling bring sites/centres in Guildford Borough providing a collection point for a wide range of materials:
- Glass bottles and jars
- Paper
- Cardboard
- Tins, cans and aerosols
- Plastic bottles
- Textiles and shoes
- Books
- Music - cds, vinyl, DVDs, cassette tapes
- Aluminium foil
- Engine oil
- Printer Cartridges
- Liquid food and drinks cartons (Tetrapaks)
If you have other items which you no longer want, such as computers, furniture or tools, please don't simply throw them away.

We are no longer able to accept yoghurt pots and margarine tubs in our plastics recycling banks because our merchant had access to a very limited market for these materials. We can now only accept the following:
