Pay online for renewals
You can pay to renew your garden waste collection online (this page opens in a new window).
When you have opened the payment page above, simply select 'Green Bag Scheme' from the drop down menu next to 'Payment Type'. Next to 'Reference' enter your reference number, which you will find in the top right hand corner of your reminder letter. Enter the amount you need to pay and then complete your payment details and click 'Accept'. Your payment will cover collections between 6 April 2010 and 1 April 2011.
Paying by debit card is free. If you pay by credit card you will be charged commission at 1.8% for internet transactions. We accept; Mastercard, Debit Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, Delta, Visa Electron.
Garden waste
Composting garden waste in your own garden is by far the most environmentally friendly way of dealing with this material.
If you are unable to compost all of your garden waste at home, you can join a fortnightly garden waste collection scheme.
Once we have collected your garden waste we take it to be recycled into compost.
Garden sacks
Reusable garden waste sacks are supplied for you to fill. These sacks are collected fortnightly from your kerbside on the same day of the week as your recycling collections (some exceptions may apply).
Garden waste placed in normal refuse sacks will not be collected.
There is a minimum purchase requirement of two sacks and a maximum of four.

Join the scheme
To join the garden waste collection scheme download and fill in the Garden Waste Application Form 2010/2011 [PDF] (81k). Return your completed form and payment, in person, to the Woking Road depot, address at the bottom of the page. We will then provide you with your reusable sacks, vouchers and collection calendar.
