Litter is expensive
Cleaning Guildford’s streets costs almost £1.5 million each year. Our street cleaning service operates 365 days a year and has a dedicated hotline 01483 444499 or email hotlinec@guildford.gov.uk.
We make sure that roads and the land that we own are kept clear of litter. We follow the guidelines set out in a National Code of Practice. We are also responsible for removing fly tips, abandoned vehicles, dead animals on the roads and graffiti and chewing gum.
