Encouraging people to walk and explore Guildford Borough
Guildford Walkfest, in its third year, was the most ambitious program of walks put together so far.  A full 48 walks took place across the borough including Horsley, Pirbright, Puttenham, Shalford, Shere Tongham, Wisley Worplesdon and of course around the Town.  In total, 780 people enjoyed the Walkfest program, ranging from the Pram walk to a 16 mile night walk from Haslemere to Guildford.

Keith Chesterton, the chair of the Walking Forum was delighted with the success of the program, he said: "I want to thank all those volunteers who offered, designed and conducted the walks, without them Guildford Walkfest would not happen."
