The Guildford Philharmonic and Guildford Choral Society join forces once more to perform Verdi’s 'Messa da Requiem', one of the greatest choral works ever written and as popular as his operas.  It was completed to mark the first anniversary of the death of Alessandro Manzoni, an Italian poet and novelist much admired by Verdi.
