Q. How often should my street be cleaned?
A. Each street has a standard of cleanliness which must be met. The frequency of cleaning depends on its use. On average, streets are checked and cleaned fortnightly by litter patrols. Visit our street cleaning section for more information.
Q. Should I contact you if there is litter on the street?
A. We employ inspectors who monitor the standard of cleanliness of the Borough's roads. However, we are always grateful to members of the public for contacting us if there are large amounts of litter in a particular place. You can call our hotline on 01483 444499 or contact us by email. Visit our street cleaning section for more information.
