	2009 Guildford Calendar on sale now - 28/08/08 The winning paintings for this years Guildford calendar competition have been selected and the 2009 calendar is on sale now. 	Guildford flies Olympic flag - 27/08/08 The Olympic flag is now flying at Spectrum Leisure Complex in Guildford. Guildford borough was among those chosen to celebrate the handover from Beijing to London 2012 and the special flag was raised at a ceremony to mark the occasion on Sunday 24 August.
