The private sector housing team is here to assist landlords and tenants to maintain a safe private rented sector in the Borough.

The Council enforces housing standards relating to home safety and disrepair, including special requirements for houses in multiple occupation and park home sites (see links to the right).

Grants are also available to landlords for certain works - and we also operate a renewable technology loan scheme.

We will try to keep landlords up to date on any developments through these webpages and through occasional Landlords Forums.  We also intend to operate an occasional mailing list if you want us to send information to you by email.
