St Martin’s Court is situated in St Martins Close, East Horsley, approximately 9 miles east of Guildford on the A246. There is a bus stop close to the accommodation, with regular and direct routes to Guildford and Leatherhead.

The two-storey building has thirty spacious self-contained flats, with fitted kitchens, a lounge, bedroom and bathroom. All flats have central heating. Some have access to patios or balconies, either overlooking the village bowling green or landscaped gardens.

  • A guest suite is available for relatives and friends at a small charge.
  • Hairdressing and chiropody is available on-site.
  • A lift is available for those tenants living on the first floor.

Social activities
The Horsley Room overlooks the bowling green and is used for various activities:

  • Coffee mornings
  • Bingo
  • Beetle drives
  • Scrabble and Whist
  • A lunch service is available five days a week (excluding bank holidays)
  • Most monthly church services are held in the Horsley Room

Local amenities
St Martin’s Parish Church is five minutes walk away, as well as the local Post Office, pharmacy and shops.

Support services
There is a team of sheltered housing officers, who ensure the welfare of residents, working Monday to Thursday  from 8.30am to 5.00pm, and on Fridays from 8.30am to 4.30 pm. Outside of these hours, support is provided by the staff visitors team for emergencies, via the care centre. When a member of staff is not on-site, the scheme is switched to the care centre in Guildford. If an emergency arises, help is summoned from a red pull-chord situated in all flats and communal areas.
