The Guildford Film Society at The Electric Theatre is launched!

We are delighted to introduce improved benefits to the members of GFS and, for the first time a fantastic programme covering the entire year's season.

All the films screened are carefully chosen to reflect the wealth of Art House, World and Independent Film which often gets overlooked by multiplex cinemas.

Each film will be screened on a Sunday evening in the intimate surroundings of the Theatre’s riverside Café Bar, with refreshments on offer prior to the screening.

As a member you will have the chance to watch some outstanding films with fellow enthusiasts in the wonderful setting of The Electric Theatre.

What does my membership include?
Membership of the Guildford Film Society includes the following benefits:

• Closed membership
• Regular evening screenings in the Café Bar or Auditorium
• Pre-screening refreshments available for purchase from the Café Bar
• Programme notes supplied prior to the screening by Letterbox DVD
• Seasonal pre-screening talk by staff from the University of Surrey Film Studies Faculty
• GFS Films at Electric Theatre Film Festivals exclusively voted for by members
• Free attendance at GFS Film choice screening at Electric Theatre Film Festivals
• Discounts on tickets for remaining Film Festival programme
• Occasional social events
• 2 guests permitted per membership per screening (for a small charge)

Fees
Membership Fees for a full Season (September – July) are:

• £36 single membership
• £60 joint membership
