Grant Aid is a form of funding available to voluntary sports, arts and playscheme groups and organisations. To qualify for assistance an organisation must first and foremost undertake its activity within the borough of Guildford.
We accept applications for our grants scheme once a year and they are considered 'en-bloc'. Grants are not awarded to commercial or profit-making organisations. For more details about the scheme please read our guidance notes.
Organisations can apply for four types of grants:
- Arts
- Community and youth
- Play
- Sports
You can request a hard copy from Leisure Services using the contact details on the relevant pages between October and December each year. Forms must be returned by the deadline stated on the top of the form - late applications will not be accepted.
As well as groups and organisations, grant aid is available to individuals of regional, national or international standard or potential in their particular field of endeavour within the sports and arts categories.
Playscheme groups are exempt from the individual grant aid.
