Grants for sports clubs
Grants are awarded by Guildford Borough Council via Sport Guildford.  Applications are invited from organisations towards equipment and revenue or capital projects. All applicants must be members of Sport Guildford.

The amount of each grant awarded to clubs varies.  However, the average amount for 2008/2009 was £300.

The 2009/20010 application process is now open.  The deadline for forms to be returned is 9 January 2009 so please contact the Sport and Physical Activity Officer for more information.

Grants for outstanding ability
This grant scheme offers financial assistance to individuals of national and international standard or potential in their chosen sport.  To be eligible for consideration applicants must be resident in Guildford Borough.  Grants are awarded towards identifiable extra costs associated with elite performance.
