Rose Seber  BA Hons Fine Art  

After retiring as a computer programmer Rose decided to devote more time to art, and started a part time BA course at University College for the Creative Arts at Farnham, graduating in 2005.  Rose concentrated mainly on printmaking, especially etching.  Since leaving Farnham she has taken various short courses at the Badger Press in Bishop’s Waltham, and South Hill Park Art Centre at Bracknell and has also studied Stone Lithography under Paul Croft and Simon Burder.  Rose is currently attending etching classes on Tuesdays at the City and Guilds of London Art School, under Jason Hicklin.

Rose's other main interest is in rock and ice climbing and mountaineering, which is reflected in her work.  When in the mountains she tries to find time to draw, and later use this for her etchings.

As well as exhibiting regularly with the Guildford Art Society Rose has also had work in the following exhibitions:
