New work for 2007 by Iona Mackenzie Laycock
"Recently I have travelled to Italy and developed work on Tuscany my main source of inspiration being the country side around Florence, the landscape is full of patterns and rich in colour." comments Ioana.

Ioana continues, "The other place I am inspired by is Venice which I visited three times in one year, it was only on my last visit in January that I started to sketch out ideas.
I have also looked at other artists interpretation of Venice such a Monet’s paintings.
Since last Exhibiting at Guildford I have had my first London solo show at New Zealand House and have taken part in the Yvonne Arnaud Art last year and for the past three years I have been Exhibiting my work at Art in Action."
