A Special Workshop for Beginners by Jan Harbon
Starting to Paint Flowers
Renowned artist Jan Harbon, teaches workshops and courses at RHS Wisley and Gilbert White's House. At the personal request of Pauline Dean's family, Jan is staging a workshop in Flower Painting for beginners during the A Flowering Legacy Exhibition.
During the workshops will learn about, and have the opportunity to practice, basic drawing and reference techniques that are common to all ways of flower painting. Basic colour will also be covered, and there will also be the opportunity to try out 'hot press'. Jan Harbon will explore the different ways of drawing flowers, including botanical art and more impressionistic representations.
Places for this workshop are free, but spaces are very limited. Booking is essential.
