Aaron lives in rural Cornwall and works out of a renovated barn designing and making furniture with an environmental edge. He spent a number of years working in Africa on aid projects where every resource is valuable and recycling is a way of life and these experiences have had a deep influence on the way he works. He is currently studying for an MA at University College Falmouth.
Re-Form furniture is designed to be batch produced using simple technologies and sustainable materials that have a minimal effect on the environment. The range is still developing as research into environmental materials and technologies continues.
The furniture has been designed to raise environmental awareness and be versatile, durable, and fun. Timber is sourced from local sawmills and the plastic components are made from recycled post-consumer and industrial waste. Waste plastic is a major contributor to the pollution of our planet, but can be turned into a remarkable strong, stylish and durable sheet material that gives this range of furniture a unique character.
