Durat

Torni Sink made of recycled plastic

The DURAT® design collection has been developed by Ulla Koskinen, Ulla Tuominen and Eeva Lithovius. The leading principle of the company is to unite design and recycling. The DURAT® design collection is a selection of exclusive, minimalist design furniture mainly for use in bathroom interiors. The collection includes baths, shower trays, wash basins, tables, stools and benches.

The designs are made of DURAT®, which is a solid surface material containing recycled plastics. The surface is easy to keep clean, resistant to various chemicals and can be renewed by a light sanding if needed.

The company collects plastic waste raw material in Scandinavia and turns it into high-quality DURAT® products using modern technology and flexible moulding systems. The company continually invests in development work to expand the range of innovative new products made from recycled plastic.

DURAT® is a privately owned company, established in 1990. The company is located in Rymättylä, in the beautiful archipelago of southwestern Finland.
