PS Originals

PS Originals is a small company that makes hand made textile gifts and cards. The aim is to create original, unusual and useful items with pleasing colour combinations.  These items are enhanced with hand-painted silk and beaded embroidery. Some fabrics are made from scratch, using a layering process.

The finished products reflect the time and thought that is given to each piece.

 

Penny says, "I was born in Warrington, brought up in Devon, and moved to the Guildford area six years ago.  In 1989 I married Michael and qualified as a Registered General Nurse, then a Registered Psychiatric Nurse.  I worked in this field until our children were born.  It was during this time that I had the opportunity to develop PS Originals as it is today.

I must thank my Mother for not only introducing me to textiles but also guiding me and encouraging me. I have greatly benefited from her knowledge.

When creating an item I have endeavoured to incorporate quality, usefulness and originality.  Colour combination also has a huge influence on what PS Originals aims to provide."
