These are of leaded lights glazed in small squares with lead cames and with the opening lights made of flat section of wrought iron.
Many of the opening windows, as in the Pine Room, oriel window of the Garden Room and first floor landing, have very elaborate wrought iron casement fasteners and espagnolette bolts.
Outside there were spring quadrant stays, many of which have perished. These casements are a very interesting and precious feature. There is a drawing of one of the fasteners by Sir Reginald Blomfield in his book on Renaissance architecture in England which he dates at about 1680.
