Henry James Sage (1868-1953)

A celebration of the work of the much-loved local artist, Henry James Sage will end the year 2003, which is the fiftieth anniversary of his death. Sage is best known for his detailed and evocative sketches and watercolours of Guildford, and its surrounding villages and countryside. This exhibition features works from the Guildford Borough Council collection and also works loaned from Private Collections. Featuring Sage paintings not previously seen at Guildford House.
