Guildford House Gallery staged this exciting exhibition of 18th century portraits by royal pastellist John Russell, R.A. (1745-1806), marking the bicentenary of the artist's death. The exhibition featured over 30 pastel and oil paintings by the artist, covering 40 years of Russell's career.

Accompanying the exhibition will be original 18th and early 19th century dresses from the Marion May Collection, making this show a rare visual treat.
