New Visions - Print and Print Making
New Visions explores European and English prints and printmaking techniques from 1620 to 1931. The exhibition illustrates society's changing views of seeing the world, and there are rare black and white as well as coloured works by Visscher, Townley Stubbs, Thomas Cheesman and many others.
Learn more about mezzotint, stipple and line engravings, and other printing techniques. The exhibition organised by the Cuming Museum, London. From 18-25 November 2005 and 6-13 January 2007 additional prints and engravings from the Borough Collection were on display in the Garden Room.
