Silk Flower Paintings by Rachel Bone

Rachel Bone is an Artist living and working in Hampshire. Since 1996 she has held successful exhibitions in Portsmouth, Fareham, Chichester, Bath, Petersfield, Bloomsbury and Guildford.

Working exclusively on silks she produces colourful and vibrant paintings
Inspired by nature and flowers.

Her work includes a great deal of pattern and further exploration of form, colour and shape. The title of this latest exhibition is A Decorated Garden

"I am inspired by gardens, any gardens, big or small, even a patch of nature that has burst out of a crack in concrete. Flowers are the greatest expressions of beauty that we ever see. They are beyond the borders of humanity."

Due to the popularity of the production of cards of her work at exhibitions, Rachel now produces and sell cards.

Painted on silk, her works are delicate studies of the natural work and beautiful to behold. All works were for sale.
