Guildford House Gallery is Awarded VAQAS Accreditation of Quality Assured Visitor Attraction for second year running.

Guildford House Gallery has been awarded accreditation as a 'Quality Assured Visitor Attraction' for the second year running.  The Assessor’s key observations included

“A very well presented Gallery in all aspects, from the quality of the exhibitions to the support from staff.”

The Assessor contacted the Gallery by email, telephone and via the website before his visit in ‘mystery visitor’ style.  The speed and quality of response he experienced, he described as

 “Impressive… representing excellent customer service”.

The Borough Collection of artwork which is available to view online via the Gallery’s website was described as “an excellent feature”, which enables visitors to view the works for both education and pleasure without actually visiting the Gallery.

The window displays for the Gallery Shop, and the welcome and service were all complimented in the report, and the Gallery Café was described as

“providing good service and excellent quality food.  Service was efficient and friendly.”

Gallery and Exhibitions Manager, Christian Dettlaff said:

“We are delighted to receive this accreditation for the second year running, and it is even more pleasing that the improvements we have made in the last year were recognised.  To us, it represents well-deserved recognition for the whole team of staff who work hard to provide a good quality service to our visitors.”
