We received accreditation from the Visitor Attraction Quality Assurance Service in recognition of the services offered to our visitors for the first time in 2006 and this has now been awarded for the second year. The VAQAS Inspector described Guildford House as "a very good gallery with exceptionally good exhibitions in a well preserved building".

Local exhibitions showing art from our own collection are always extremely popular with local residents. The Memories of Guildford Exhibition in April/May 2006 prompted the following comments:-
