The exhibition shows the history of the WRAC in Guildford; from 1951 when Stoughton became the home of the WRAC depot, until the corps was disbanded in 1992.
In addition, the museum is also running the following talks to coincide with the exhibition:
March 5 2009 - All muck and no medals
Joan Mant will give an illustrated talk about the life and work of Land girls during World War Two. Joan will be signing her copies of her book All Muck and No Medals which has been recently republished.
7.30pm in the Guildhall, High Street Guildford.
Tickets £5.50 including a glass of wine.
March 7 2009 - The WRAC in Guildford
A talk by Matthew Alexander covering the history of the Women's Royal Army Corps in Guildford.
2pm in the museum classroom.
Tickets free but booking essential due to limited numbers.
