Guildford Borough Council runs a Grant Scheme which offers funding across four different areas. 

Application forms are available on request from 1 October onwards and must be returned to the relevant Officer by 4.30pm on Friday 11 December.  Please email or telephone the relevant contact below for more information.

Arts Grants - to support voluntary and not-for-profit organisations running arts projects that benefit, primarily, Guildford Borough residents.

Community and Youth Grants - to help voluntary and not-for-profit organisations with the cost of projects of a non-routine nature, for the provision and improvement of general community and youth facilities in the Guildford Borough. The projects assisted through this grant scheme are usually of a capital or building related nature.  However, purchase of major equipment will also be considered.

Play Grants - open to voluntary and community groups or organisations who are seeking funding for delivering play opportunities for children and young people within Guildford Borough.

Sports Grants - available to voluntary organisations within the Guildford Borough who are members of Sport Guildford and have achieved or are working toward Clubmark and/or Active Surrey Club Accreditation.  Grants are awarded toward sport events, activities, development or purchase of equipment.  A separate form is available for grants to individuals of outstanding sporting ability.
