Registered Common with open grassland, mixed broadleaf woodland, predominantly oak and ponds; the total area is 29 hectares. The A248 Shalford to Albury road bisects the common. Football pitch, cricket pitch and small children’s play area. An important public open space to the south of Guildford.
Access/furniture
Public footpaths and tracks dissect the site throughout. Disabled and pushchair access along main tracks. No car parking except on the adjacent tracks. No formal signage. No dog bins. Occasional seating.

Footpaths cut regularly, grassland mown annually with grass collected to promote ground flora. Tree work reactive. Regular consultation with Shalford Parish Council.
